Half the cost of the trip is due at booking. The remaining balance is due March 17, 2026—that’s 40 days before we depart.

Your deposit amount is dependent upon how you are traveling. Are you coming with a partner or friend? Your cost is $3400 USD per person. So your deposit is $1700 each. Are you traveling solo and need a single room? (Sorry, insurance prohibits us from allowing shared rooms for single travelers.) Your cost is $4450 USD. Your deposit is $2225.
Terms & Conditions of Booking
BY ANCESTRY MEDIA INC, a Delaware registered company, acts as tour operator for the ground arrangements described in your booking confirmation. We do not operate or control airlines, rail services, ferries, taxies, independent hotels, restaurants, attractions, or any other third-party service providers and thus are are not responsible for their acts or omissions, except where mandated by applicable law. A nonrefundable deposit of $1,700 USD per person double occupancy is required to secure your place on the tour ($2225 USD single traveler) due by February 15, 2026. The balance of the tour price is due no later than March 17, 2026. If the balance is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as canceled and retain your deposit.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you wish to cancel, you must notify us in writing. Deposits are nonrefundable. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a tour or make significant changes where necessary due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, public health emergencies, or insufficient numbers of participants). If we cancel your tour before departure, you will be offered a full refund of monies paid to us for the tour OR an alternative tour of comparable value, if available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any additional costs you incur (such as flights, insurance, or other travel arrangements) in the event of a cancellation or change.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: You are responsible for ensuring you have a valid passport, any required visas, and meeting all entry requirements for Ireland; arranging your own travel insurance with adequate coverage for medical expenses, personal liability, trip interruption and cancellation; informing us at the time of booking of any medical conditions, reduced mobility, or special requirements that may affect your participation; acting in a considerate manner toward other participants, our staff, and third-party providers and complying with all local laws and regulations. We reserve the right to refuse participation or to remove a participant from the tour if, in our reasonable opinion, their conduct is unsafe, disruptive, illegal, or otherwise incompatible with the safety and enjoyment of the group, without any right to refund.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK: By joining our tour, you acknowledge that travel and related activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to accidents, injury, illness, property loss, and events arising from the actions of other people or from the environment. You voluntarily assume all such risks to the extent permitted by law and agree that you are responsible for determining whether the tour and its activities are suitable for you, taking into account your personal health and fitness.
ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION: Where the tour includes visits to pubs, distilleries, and other venues serving alcohol, you must be at least 18 years old to consume alcohol and may be required to show valid ID. You are fully responsible for your own alcohol consumption and behavior. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from intoxication or failure to follow local laws and venue rules.
IMAGE/MEDIA RELEASE: We may take photographs and video during the tour for promotional and marketing purposes. By participating, you grant us non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use images in which you may appear, in any media worldwide, for our business purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.
COMPLAINTS: If you have a complaint during the tour, you must inform the guide or our local representative as soon as possible so that we can try to resolve the issue on the spot. If it is not resolved locally, you must submit your complaint in writing within 3 days of the tour end date.
WAIVER/RELEASE FORM: You will be required to sign the terms and conditions as well as an official acknowledgment of risk and release of claims before the tour departs.
